Joanne Bletcher is General Counsel of Evestia Clinical and leads the Group’s legal function. She has more than 20 years’ experience advising international businesses on corporate and commercial matters, with particular expertise in commercial contracting, corporate law and governance and compliance.
Joanne supports Evestia Clinical’s global operations across the full clinical development lifecycle, advising on client and vendor contracting, data protection, intellectual property, employment matters, legal risk management and strategic transactions. She works closely with the Board and executive leadership team to support the Group’s continued growth and international expansion.
Before joining Evestia Clinical, Joanne was Head of Legal and Company Secretary at Ergomed, where she supported a global CRO and pharmacovigilance business through a period of significant growth. Prior to moving in-house, she spent more than a decade in private practice at Bird & Bird and Herbert Smith Freehills, advising clients on corporate transactions, governance matters and complex commercial arrangements.
