Jim Esinhart brings over 30 years of accomplished experience spanning both industry and academia. Currently, Jim transitioned to consulting and serves as a board member for a range of pharmaceutical services and technology companies.
Previously, he was CEO at Chiltern International (now Fortrea), where for more than a decade he provided strategic leadership and guided the organization’s growth. Jim has also held senior leadership roles at Charles River Laboratories and was a co-founder of PharmaResearch Corporation (now part of Syneos), a contract research organization specializing in infectious diseases.
Earlier in his career, he was an Assistant Professor at East Carolina University, where he also contributed as a member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for research involving human subjects. Additionally, Jim has held product development positions at Glaxo (now GSK) and Wyeth (now Pfizer).
He earned his PhD in Biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, and holds a BS in Statistics from Radford University.
