Great Place to Work is a Milestone, Not the Destination

Evestia Clinical has been awarded Great Place to Work Certification™ in the UK, Germany, and the USA.

Based entirely on employee feedback, the certification recognizes organizations that create consistently positive workplace experiences. Liz Boulton, Executive Vice President, People UK/EU, reflects on what the recognition means and why building a strong culture is an ongoing commitment.

Receiving Great Place to Work Certification™ across the UK, Germany, and the USA is an accomplishment we’re incredibly proud of at Evestia Clinical. What makes it particularly meaningful is that it’s based entirely on the views and experiences of our employees, which, for me, is what makes this recognition so important.

The certification reflects the culture we’ve built together, one where people feel valued, respected, and empowered to do their best work. While we’re delighted to receive this recognition, I see it as much more than an award. It’s an opportunity to reflect on what’s working well, celebrate the people who make Evestia Clinical what it is, and continue listening as we grow.

Hearing directly from our employees was one of the most valuable parts of the process. The feedback consistently came back to three themes: trust, collaboration, and support. Colleagues spoke about the encouragement they receive from one another, the confidence they’re given to make decisions, and the genuine willingness across the business to share knowledge and work towards common goals. They also spoke about the flexibility they enjoy, the sense of belonging they feel, and the recognition they receive for the contribution they make. Those qualities don’t happen by chance. They’re built through everyday interactions, strong leadership, and a shared commitment to supporting one another.

The feedback also highlighted areas where we can continue to improve. I see that as one of the greatest strengths of the Great Place to Work process. It gives us an opportunity to listen, learn, and keep evolving. No organization gets everything right, particularly during periods of growth, but being willing to understand where we can do better is an important part of building a culture that lasts.

As Evestia Clinical continues to grow, protecting that culture is one of our highest priorities. Growth brings exciting opportunities. It enables us to expand our capabilities, welcome new colleagues, and support more biotech innovators around the world. It also places greater responsibility on us to preserve the openness, collaboration, and sense of connection that our employees told us they value most.

Culture is often thought of as something internal, but I don’t believe it stops there. The way people work together, share knowledge, and support one another directly shapes the experience we deliver for our biotech partners.

Clinical research depends on collaboration. Delivering successful trials requires experts from different disciplines to work together, share ideas, solve problems, and support one another. When people feel trusted, respected, and empowered, they are better able to focus on delivering high-quality work for our clients and, ultimately, help innovative therapies reach patients. That is why creating a great workplace isn’t separate from delivering excellent clinical research, it’s an important part of it.

The insights we’ve gained through this process are already helping shape the next chapter of our journey. We’re working with leaders across the business to better understand the feedback, identify practical opportunities to enhance the employee experience, and ensure our culture continues to evolve alongside our growth.

I’d like to thank all of our employees who took the time to share their honest feedback. This certification belongs to all of us, and it would not have been possible without their input. Their openness has helped us celebrate what makes Evestia Clinical special while also giving us valuable direction for the future.

The Great Place to Work Certification™ is another step in our ongoing commitment to creating an environment where people feel valued, respected, and able to do their best work. As we continue to grow, listening to our people and investing in our culture will remain at the heart of Evestia Clinical.
